Class Descriptions


Strength

BARRE
Strengthen and stretch your muscles while developing great posture.  The majority of class is done on the barre and offers additional work with small hand weights, the Bender Ball, and Gliding Discs.

CORE & STRENGTH
15 minutes of core strengthening & defining exercises (abdominal, upper/lower back, hips), finished off with a stretch session.  Short but effective, this class is perfect alone or in addition to any workout.

FLEX
A complete body workout to strengthen and tighten the major muscle groups - paying special attention to those stubborn areas (backs, underarms, abs, thighs, and rears). Exercises transition for one muscle group to the next and continuous music makes for a sweat-drenched workout great for any level.  Get that lean, chiseled look!

LITE FLEX
Designed for fitness at any age or skill level, this 30 minute weight training class will help tone and strengthen your entire body.

POWER & GRACE
Created by CC Maher. This class is beneficial to everyone and can be done at your own level with the use of all types of props and strength equipment.  Dynamic functional exercises are performed to increase strength and muscle definition. Fluid graceful movements are done to improve body alignment, coordination, and balance.

TRX: BODY STRENGTH
Work out your large muscle groups in an entirely new way. A structured rep-based class aids in strengthening and building muscle while the use of a TRX strap simultaneously encourages the development of core strength, flexibility, and balance.

TRX: CORE INTENSIVE
TRX straps are used in this specialized class to focus on strengthening and toning abs, glutes, and thighs while simultaneously building balance and flexibility.

TRX: TOTAL BODY
TRX system encourages the development of core strength, flexibility, and balance. Both large and small muscle groups are the focus of this class to tone and tighten your whole body.

BOOTCAMP
The focus is on burning calories by alternating heart-healthy cardio movements and drills with muscle-shaping and strengthening exercises.  Fun and highly effective.

HIITS
A mixture of non-stop movement, strength drills and cardio moves.  Boost your metabolism, improve cardiovascular and anaerobic fitness, burn fat, and define your shape.

JUMP & JAB
A multi-impact cardio class that blends the power and focus of kickboxing with the energizing movements of hi/lo aerobics for a sweat-soaking workout.

LITE CARDIO

SPIN
Ride your way fit with varying intensities and speeds. Alignment, proper pedaling techniques, and cadence control are emphasized.

DaNCE

THE BOSS CHICK DANCE™
A high intensity hip hop, dance hall, afrobeats fusion twerkout that will have you poppin, lockin, and droppin your way to a bangin' new body. The class features dance cardio set to the hottest beats of hip-hop, dancehall, and afrobeats. In addition to discovering your inner Beyonce, you will be sculpting your abs, arms, legs, and butt for a complete full body workout! Come prepared to sweat and dance like never before and burn up to 1000+ calories!

RELEVÉ
Experience beautiful fluid movements in this toning, strengthening, and stretching workout. A ballet barre workout performed standing and on the mat.

SALUTÉ
Quicker movements including optional impact (low impact/non-impact variations will be offered as well).  Relevé builds strength while sauté gets your heart pumping.

THE VIXEN WORKOUT
A dance fitness format that uses commercial choreography, killer music remixes, and stage lighting so you can experience yourself as a performer. Our classes create an environment where you can experience an emotional release, mind-body connection, and a sense of community while burning anywhere between 500 to over 1,000 calories!

ZUMBA™
An easy-to-follow, high-energy, hip-shaking, Latin based dance workout. Suitable for all levels and for anyone who wants a fun cardio workout - low impact.


Mind and body

HATHA YOGA
Perform specific postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation to develop muscular strength, suppleness, and flexibility. Transitions between poses allow mental focus on breath and form.  Strength postures are mingled with relaxation movements and breathing techniques to enhance overall energy and focus.

SLOW FLOW YOGA
A synthesis of breath and movement - a slower flow followed by a separate meditation segment.

YIN YOGA BLISS
A class with a slower flow where postures are held for 1-½ to 3 minutes, resulting in a deeper and more meditative experience.

YOGA FLOW
A synthesis of breath and movement - a slower flow followed by a separate meditation segment.

YOGA SCULPT
Rhythmic warming vinyasa flow followed by specific postures strengthen targeted areas, shoulders, back, hips, legs, abs, and glutes.

SPARK
Wake up & rebalance your body! Spark combines integrated fluid movement to encourage full body mobility with classic and athletic stretches to improve functional flexibility. Release muscle tension while greatly improving postural alignment and body mechanics.

TOTAL BODY PILATES
A core-conditioning class where a series of flowing exercises are performed. A strong emphasis on technique, focused on the abdominals, lower back, and hip girdle. Enhance muscle definition, body balance, functionality, and flexibility with the use of props.

NIA
A minimal impact class that blends the movement forms of yoga, tai chi, and modern dance, ethnic, and jazz dance. Suitable for all levels. Free your body and your mind!
